Pairings: Onew x Luna

*Onew's POV*
One last step, and we're finished. The music stopped playing and I smiled widely as the fans cheered and applauded. "Kamsahamnida~" The five of us bowed and waved before entering the backstage.
"Another great performance, guys. Well done!" praised our labelmate, Jessica noona who happened to pass by us.
As soon as we entered our waiting room, everyone let out a big sigh of relief. "Pass me the bottle, hyung," asked Minho while pointed at a water bottle on the table not far from me.
"After Super Junior finished their performance, we all have to gather on stage for the closing ceremony. It will be about 20 minutes," announced our manager.
"Neh~" All of us replied in unison. The manager checked our schedules back before announcing our next activity.
Much tp my relief, he smiled and said, "Tomorrow we'll be back in Korea," Oh, finally. We're going home soon. I can't wait to ease my tiredness from all the activities we've done since arriving in China the other day.

*Luna's POV*
"Luna," My name was the last to be called, as usual. I walked towards the teacher calmly. Everyone started to whisper to each other, battling on how much will I score in this week's weekly test.
The contagious smile curved on Miss Hamson's face may be a good sign. I looked at my test paper and smirked. Another perfect score.
"As always, Luna had scored a perfect 400 over 400 for this week's weekly test. Well done for our honoured student," praised Miss Hamson. Everyone applauded as I walked back towards my seat.
"I can't believe how she could get a perfect score that easily. In every tests! Do you think she had cheated somehow?" whispered the blonde girl behind me.
"I don't know. I never heard any bad report about her before," answered another blonde girl who had freckles all over her face.
"Well, of course. She's an honoured student after all. I guess honoured student needs to be a nerd, huh?" They both laughed. Well, I heard everything.
I took a deep breathe. Ever since I moved to Canada, I never had a real friend. I guess everyone is afraid to be near a freaky nerd like me. I didn't mean to brag, but THIS nerd, has been the honoured student every year.
My train of thoughts ended when I heard the sound of knocking on the table. Every eyes were on Miss Hamson now. She held on a sheet of paper and waved it in front of the class.
"I've told you last week, about the students exchange program. It has been decided that we're going to transfer a few selected students to Seoul, Korea," Many of my classmates cheered excitedly. I was in awe. Was that supposed to be a good news?
Miss Hamson tried to calm everyone down. "Calm down, everyone. I know many of you are excited because of the K-Pop trend right now,"
I raised my eyebrow. K-Pop? What's K-Pop? About half of my classmates had gone crazy about this students exchange program thingy. I was the only one confused. I poked the girl beside me and decided to ask her about this K-Pop everyone were talking about.
"Hey, what's K-Pop? Is it good for your health?" I asked. The girl laughed, like hysterically.
"Well, of course. Once you're a fangirl, it is always a healthy thing to root for your idols in every way!" Again, I didn't understand what the girl was talking. But I nodded anyway. Oh well, it's not that I wanted to join the program anyway.
The school bell rang, signalling that it was time for recess. Before Miss Hamson let us all out, she managed to say her last words.
"Before I forgot, the principal had asked that every honoured student must participate in this program,"
WHAT?!

*Onew's POV*
"Onew Oppa! Onew Oppa!" "Jonghyun Oppa!" "Minho Oppa!" "Key Oppa!" "Taemin Oppa!" "SHINee Oppa!" Really, all kinds of cheering could be heard as soon as we entered the arriving terminal.
"Smile and waved, guys," I whispered to the other four. They laughed before doing what I usually said when we had to confront our crowd of fans.
In the midst of dealing with the fans, I felt something on my right foot. I instantly stopped after hearing a faint cracking noise which was hardly heard when there were so many fans cheering around me. Taemin who was walking right behind me accidentally bumped on my back, due to my sudden brake.
"What's wrong, hyung?" asked him, puzzled.
I looked down to where I stepped without answering his question. "What's this?" I saw pieces of glasses before seeing a pair of spectacles right under my shoe. I gasped. Did I stepped on someone's spectacles?
I quickly took the broken spectacles and looked around to see if anybody might searched for it.
*****
*Luna's POV*
Why, why, why! Just, why?! Why do I have to forcefully join this program? I don't know anything about Korea or even their cultures. Let alone their so called adorable languages. And what is this K-Pop thing everyone was excited about? Does it really do anything good for health? I honestly doubt that. It sounded like the brand of a candy, and candy isn't healthy at all.
"Everyene, line up please!" Mr. Gordon who was in charge of this program stood in front of us, trying to fight with the noisy people around us. Come to think of it, why were they acting so hysterically? Was there anything to be excited about?
"OMG, OMG! Look at that! It's SHINee!!" As soon as one of students in this program - whom I didn't know from which class - announced that, everyone started to shrieked like... crazy.
"Shiny? Is it the window?" I tried to ask one of my classmate but they didn't even bother to look at me. "Hello?" I guess it was no use trying to ask them because now, ALL of them - majority girls - were running towards one direction.
"What in the world... Oh!" Someone crashed on me, hard. I lost my balance and fell onto the ground, hence, my spectacles lost its grip from my ear and went flying elsewhere.
Oh gosh, everything turned blurry. My vision was unclear. I can't find the teachers, nor the other students involved in this program. Someone, help me?
*****
*Onew's POV*
"Whose spectacles are you holding?" asked Taemin. I shook my head.
"I don't know. It happened to be under my shoe," I looked at the poor spectacles. How can I find the owner of this spectacles? And what if the owner turns angry after seeing the state of this spectacles?
"You mean, you stepped on it, hyung," said Taemin, raising his left eyebrow.
"What's wrong? Move, guys," Jonghyun was already ahead of us, followed by Key, Minho and the manager. I trailed after them with mix feelings, whether to find the owner of this spectacles, or just leave it like that.
*Luna's POV*
"Aish..! Where did my glasses go? " I fumbled on about everything to find my glasses back. I can't possibly see anything without them! And to think that no one wouldn't even care to help this needy nerd! Talking about selfish people these days.
I gave up searching for my glasses. Guess I have no choice but to find the teacher and the others. It would be a big problem if I lost them. I kept fumbling and walked with no particular directions. I don't even know where I was heading.
Thud! "Ouch!" My head. I must have bumped on someone. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to..." Wait, does Korean knows how to speak English? "Err... I... I..." Oh no, what should I do?
I started to panic. The person in front of me doesn't seemed to move at all. My blurry vision held me back from identifying whether it was a man, or a woman. And this person didn't even bother to talk to me. What should I do? Ah, I know!
I clasped both my hands in front of me, symbolizing my actions of apologizing. I guess everyone did this whenever they want to apologize, right? "I'm sorry. I don't know if you could speak English or not, but I'm really, really sorry for bumping on you earlier!"
*Onew's POV*
What am I going to do with this? Should I take it or just leave it here?
"Hyung, what are you doing? Quick, we're going to be late" Jonghyun startled me. My instincts tell me to just take it just in case I bump into that helpless person. Who could possibly be that helpless person, to lose a spectacles at an open place? Aishh what a pity.
By only looking at the thickness of the glasses, I can guess that this person can't see things clearly without the help of it. I wonder where is the owner...
Fans were chasing us from behind and I realize that I was the only guy left. All the members are already outside waiting to get in the van. Fast-walk mode activated! Ahh memories.. it was just like yesterday when I entered that competition.
"Kyaaaaa~" fans were going crazy. Some of them were busy snapping pictures while others were just busy shouting their throats off. I better fast fast fast walk!
"What took you so long? You know it's not good being a late idol? We need to show a good image, not being late!" Key starts to babble as soon I reach the van. The others were just smiling, we all know how Diva Key is when one of us did something wrong.
"Sor..." I didn't get to finish my sentence when my eyes suddenly struck to a fellow lady who is standing in front of a pole. What is she doing? From far I can see that she is talking to a pole... TALKING TO A POLE? What on earth?
Wait... I bet she can't see! It means that she's the one who have lost this spectacles. Everything is falling back into their pieces now, I think.. I told the driver to make a u-turn and park somewhere where the fans can't see us.
I wore Minho's black jacket, Taemin's hat, Key's diva-ish glasses and Jonghyun's scarf. Fans will never recognize me in this. I walk slowly towards her, I close my eyes gathering all the courage I have and finally...
"Hi" I said shyly.
"Huh?" she replied and looked at me with her weird face and closed her eyes a little bit. I thinked he can't see my face very well.
"Err.. I think this is your glasses. I accidentally stepped on it. Mianeh ~ ".
I bowed to her then quickly went back to our van before the fans saw me.
* Luna's POV *
"Hi", someone greet me from my back. My vision is killing me. I can't see that person clearly.
"Huh", I replied in cofusion.
He gave back my glasses and actually my BROKEN glasses back. He explained that he accidentally stepped on it and said one weird word that i don't understand and quickly go away. What an attitude!! Does korean usually act like this way? Urgh!!
I went back to where Mr .Gordon told us to wait while he when out to find our bus. Our students were busy bragging about their Shinee.
"Can anyone tell me what is 'mianeh'? It sounds like one of mathematical formula to me" I interupted their conversation.
Everyone looked at me and laugh.
"Luna, you're so funny!! It's not mathematical formula. It means sorry in korean." One of my classmate answered me.
Soon after that, I heard Mr. Gordon called us to get into the bus. I almost fell off the stairs due to my broken specs. Hey buddy, whoever you are, thanks a lot for breaking my spectacles! It's not that I can't see but all the things I see is like being multiplied. The stair steps seems to be doubled and I'm unsure which step should I take.
"Luna, what are you doing touching the stairs? You know its dirty right?" I bet Mr. Gordon is giving weird faces at me right now.
"Sir.. I can't see" I said which makes the others started to shriek. Err I think my sentences is making them confuse. Saying 'I can't see' is like saying 'I am blind' to them. Opps my bad.
Mr. Gordon holds my hand and said "We need to go to the hospital now! We can't let an honour student like you go blind!"
No no no that's not what I meant!!! "No sir, what I meant was my spectacles" I said, quickly showed him my broken glasses. Everyone was in relieve. They wouldn't want their once in a lifetime trip to Korea being spoiled by the nerdy Luna.
"If it was your little ol' glasses, then I think we can fix it right away. Don't worry, dear," Hearing Mr. Gordon's assurance, I smiled. Although he was naturally a strict person, he still cared about the students' needs.
Mr. Gordon clapped his hands to garner our attentions. "Okay, all of you. Listen to me. We are now going to the place where we will be spending our entire time during this program. It's not very far from here, and of course, everything you need is already prepared. Now, let's go. The bus is already waiting,"
All at once, we're moving outside, following Mr. Gordon's guide. I had to hold somebody's hand to not let myself lost again, like earlier. Wait. Come to think of it, who was the person that gave me my glasses? Well, whoever it was, he must pay for making it broken. Aish, what a bad luck for the first day of this program. I knew I shouldn't have joined.
* Onew's POV *
In our van.
All the members were chatting and laughing with each other. I can't stop thinking about that poor girl. What should I do? Fix her glasses? But how?
"Whats wrong hyung? You are so quiet?" Jonghyun asked me. All the Shinee members looked at me and waiting for my answer.
"Err..nothing..Hahahaha..What are you guys talking about? It's so funny.. Hahaha " I replied.
They were all puzzled with my answer.
" Mwol haedo Onew sangtae ~~" Taemin sang the sangtae song while Key make the sound effect and Jonghyun with Minho dance spontaneously with the sound effect. I smiled pretending that I was fine which I am not!
What have I done? Stepping on someones spectacles. Evil me.. but I didn't mean it. It's not my fault, right? The conversation between my brain and my heart really troubles me. I mean I am in which side right now? My brain keeps saying that I am wrong for not looking while walking but my heart keeps comforting me by saying that it was just an accident.
"Hyung?" Minho called me.
I turned around to him. "Yes?"
"Finally! We've been calling your name for about 8 times you know" said Key emotionally.
Jonghyun looked at me with his sharp little eyes. "Is there something bothering you, hyung?" he asked. I shaked my head and pretend that I know nothing about what they are talking about. My eyes suddenly looked at Taemin. Please god, I'm begging you not to let Taeminie remembers what happened just now..
Everyone was in silence. A few seconds later, everything was back in normal. Jonghyun and Key continues they're chit-chatting, Minho picks up his book back and Taemin.. he was sitting there looking at me like he is trying to make a hole in my face.
"Ahhh! I remember now" Taemin opens his mouth. Once again I was the center of attention.
"What are you talking about?" Minho asks looking at Taemin with a curious look. I can see that my life is going to end here. Leader of SHINee.. Onew is going bye-bye...
"Just now I saw hyung holding a broken spectacles.." that little kid starts to talk.
Without realizing I burst into laughter. "You are soooo funny!! You should be a comedian like Kim Byeongman" I laughed, hoping that they won't realize I was changing the topic.
But I was wrong. Diva Key manages to sense my crime. "What has gotten into you? You are acting different today. Not like you are not weird everyday but today you are somehow weirder" he said. The others were nodding to an agreement. Darn! I need to put some more effort in my acting skills.
"Taemin, please continue" said Jonghyun.
"Ahh okay. Hyung holds the spectacles and then.. and then.." everyone was in suspense hearing Taemin's story.
"Yaa and then what?" Minho asked. Everyone was eager to know.
Taemin smiled and he continues "And then I don't know"
The van was full with our noisiness after Taemin's story didn't go so well. "What a great story" said Key in a disappointed tone. Yes, my luck is here today!
"But wait.." and this time it's Minho acting like a boss he starts to ask some questions. "Why did you asked the driver to make a u-turn and why did you borrowed our things?" ending it with a 'hmm' tone.
Guilty! I, Lee Jinki is guilty. I better tell them the whole truth. "Actually..."
"Boys we have arrive" said our driver. The others was like 'Okay, okay 5 more minutes' but our manager had called and asked us to unpack quickly so tonight we can have our dinner at a well known restaurant.
Pheww what a day...
